Under a general anaesthetic a well hidden incision is made in the crease behind the ear. The skin is lifted off the cartilage of the ear. The cartilage is then sutured, scored or cut to improve the shape and size of the ear. If needed the ear is also sutured closer to the head. The incision is then closed. A compression bandage is then placed around the ear and head. | |
